Overview
Deputy Director of Facilities role at Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Facilities Management, the Facilities Deputy Director provides support and assistance for the operations of Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) facilities. Responsibilities
Oversees Vehicle Fleet Program Oversees Inventory Program Oversees Facility Maintenance Program Maintains Facility Life Safety Program Maintains Emergency Preparedness Plan Assists in Oversight of Large-Scale Construction Projects Oversees and Reports on Department Data/Analytics Assists in Developing and Monitoring Department Budget Manages Department Policies and Procedures Assists in Developing and Maintaining Capital Improvement and Asset Project Plans Assists in Board of Directors Department Presentations Assists in Executing Organizational Strategic Plans Coordinates and communicates with vendors, stakeholders, and others Oversees operation of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) Supervises lower-level staff Assists with facility expansion and the addition of new DWIHN facilities Performs related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field and/or an accredited Facility or Project Management Certification Required Experience
Ten (10) years of Facilities Operations Experience Ten (10) years of Commercial Construction Project Management Experience Required License
A valid State of Michigan Driver’s License with a safe and acceptable driving record Working Conditions
Physical Demands: This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 25 pounds. Travel within Wayne County and the surrounding counties is expected for this position.
