Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
About The Company Our client is a rapidly growing food manufacturing organization seeking to add a Corporate Controller to their team. The organization has enjoyed significant success in recent years and is looking for a candidate with a strong accounting background, ideally with cost accounting experience, to join this newly created role.

Salary range: $130k - $150k annually
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Oversee all accounting functions, including General Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting & Control, COGS, and tax compliance.
Own the plant operational cost accounting environment.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting and variance analysis.
Partner with external tax firms to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
Coordinate external audits and implement recommendations.
Drive process improvements to modernize accounting procedures.
Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Support financial planning, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, including KPI development.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
