We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HCM Specialist, Workday to lead and support the optimization, configuration, and maintenance of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday HCM modules, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and hands-on support to HR, IT, and business stakeholders. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, etc.). Identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation to improve HR processes and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure timely delivery. Provide advanced support for Workday HCM issues, including root cause analysis and resolution. Serve as Tier 2/3 support for Workday-related inquiries and incidents. Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields. Provide data insights and analytics to support HR strategy and decision-making. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and controls. Train HR and business users on Workday functionality and best practices. Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, and training materials. Minimum Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including configuration and support. Experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence, and Time Tracking. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Workday configuration working with Report Writer, EIBs, Calculated Fields, Business Processes and Security. Familiarity with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, or Prism Analytics is a plus. Understanding of HR data structures, workflows, and compliance requirements. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Certifications: Workday HCM Certification (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, etc.) PMP or Agile certification is a plus. Salary Range: $150-$175k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
