The Staff/ Senior Revenue Accountant position is essential to driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue recognition processes. As a Revenue Accountant, you will be part of a team that executes revenue recognition for multi-element arrangements, including software, SaaS, and professional services, and provide accurate visibility into Ping's revenue. You will report to the Revenue Accounting Manager and work cross-functionally with the Sales Ops, Sales, Professional Services, and Legal teams. Responsibilities

Analyze multi-element contract arrangements and determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP. Perform second review of multi-element contract arrangements to ensure correct revenue recognition under US GAAP. Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing monthly revenue recognition entries and reconciling revenue-related general ledger accounts. Review monthly revenue recognition entries and reconciliations prepared by junior colleagues. Coordinate with technical accounting in supporting and verifying revenue recognition treatment of non-standard terms. Draft accounting policies and suggested ASC 606 treatment for complex and evolving issues. Collaborate with the broader accounting team and assist with general ledger, financial reporting, and miscellaneous accounting tasks as assigned. Work with external auditors to provide documentation and explanations for revenue-related audit requests. Develop and support relationships with business partners. Identify opportunities for process improvement or operational automation in existing system infrastructure. Qualifications

Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience. 2-3 years of accounting experience. Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP. Advanced knowledge of Excel (ability to maintain complex spreadsheets). Works well in a team environment and independently. Excellent research and analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and execute tasks. Preferred qualifications

CPA certification or working toward licensure. Familiarity with Netsuite as an ERP. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Collaborative spirit. Life at Ping
