Sales Consultant
to join the team. This role is ideal for a personable and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about creating memorable vehicle buying experiences. Location : BMW/MINI sales showroom in downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL Schedule : This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs and dealership hours. While scheduling may vary, the company strives to support work-life balance by offering: One full weekend off per month (Saturday and Sunday) Every other Sunday off, when possible Guaranteed training pay for the first 90 days. After the initial training period, compensation is commission-based, with average commission earnings of approximately $60,000 per year, depending on individual performance. Key Responsibilities : Greet customers on the showroom floor and perform a detailed needs analysis, identifying the make, type, and features of the vehicle they are seeking. Explain key features and demonstrate the operation of vehicles both in the showroom and during test drives. Schedule and confirm test drive appointments, prepare vehicles prior to customer arrival, and accompany customers on test drives to highlight technology, safety, and performance features. Research model and equipment availability using dealership inventory tools and systems. Respond to sales inquiries through CRM, email, text, phone, online chat, and social media platforms. Create and send personalized video overviews of vehicles to prospective customers. Partner with Sales and Finance Managers to present vehicle pricing, including taxes, trade-in allowances, license fees, applicable discounts, and financing or lease options. Complete all required sales documentation and coordinate vehicle registration and delivery processes. Conduct a thorough vehicle delivery experience, ensuring the customer is familiar with the operation and features of their new MINI. Introduce each customer to the Service Department and schedule their first maintenance visit. Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process and beyond, ensuring a seamless experience and fostering long-term relationships. Actively prospect for new business through the dealership’s CRM and personal networking to build a repeat and referral-based clientele. Qualifications & Requirements : A current and valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Previous automotive sales experience is preferred, but not required - training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable using digital communication platforms, including email, text, social media, and CRM software. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
