Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Splunk expert for a short-term contract to enhance our Splunk environment, focusing on search performance, integrations, and governance. This specialist will ensure our Splunk setup effectively supports our security, compliance, and analytics requirements. The successful candidate will contribute toward optimizing search capabilities, improving data pipeline reliability, and defining data governance protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize search & performance to enhance speed and efficiency across vast datasets. Strengthen the reliability and integration of Splunk data pipelines. Implement and refine data governance and lifecycle management strategies. Advance the platform's capabilities, including inline data transformation and ML/AI enhancements. Offer guidance on best practices for a code-based detection approach and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Must-Have Skills:
Profound experience with Splunk administration and development. Expertise in SPL, search optimization, and indexing. Working knowledge of data governance as applied to Splunk.
Industry Experience: Preferred candidates will have a background in cybersecurity or a related domain, though this is not mandatory.
