Bankruptcy Litigation Associate (Creditor’s Rights) — New York, NY. A premier national law firm's Bankruptcy Group seeks a 3rd–4th year creditor’s rights litigation associate. The successful candidate will handle state court litigation in residential and commercial property foreclosure actions, as well as commercial collection actions. Experience enforcing mortgages and other security interests in New York is required; experience with loan workouts, Article 9 foreclosure proceedings, and mortgage loan purchase and sale transactions is a plus. Salary:

$215,000.00–$235,000.00 per year, plus bonus. Base pay range provided by recruiter; final offer depends on experience and other factors. Responsibilities

Litigate creditor’s rights matters in New York state courts, including residential and commercial foreclosures. Handle commercial collection actions and enforcement of mortgages and other security interests. Assist with loan workouts, Article 9 foreclosure proceedings, and mortgage loan purchase and sale transactions when applicable. Collaborate with partners and senior associates to manage dockets, discovery, and case strategy. Qualifications

New York Bar admission is required. 3rd–4th year associate with state court litigation experience, particularly in foreclosure and mortgage-related matters. Experience with commercial collection actions and enforcement of security interests in New York preferred. Experience with loan workouts, Article 9 foreclosure proceedings, and mortgage loan purchase/sale transactions is a plus. Benefits & Other
