Bankruptcy Associate Attorney
to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about consumer law and wants to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while working in a flexible, modern, virtual-first environment. What You’ll Do Represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
Provide clear, empathetic legal advice and guidance to clients facing financial challenges.
Draft and review petitions, schedules, motions, and other bankruptcy filings.
Attend virtual court hearings, trustee meetings, and negotiations with creditors.
Stay current on bankruptcy law, regulations, and local rules.
What We’re Looking For Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Texas bar license and admitted to the Southern District of Texas Bankruptcy Court additional Texas district admittance a plus.
1–3 years of bankruptcy or consumer law experience (motivated entry-level attorneys will also be considered).
Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Client-centered approach and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced setting.
