SAP BASIS Consultant

PMTS INC is seeking a SAP Basis Consultant for an onsite role in Phoenix, AZ. Position's General Duties and Tasks In these roles, you will be responsible for: Supporting clients as SAP basis expert with thorough understanding of the latest SAP technology, tools, and architecture Identifying, assessing, and solving complex SAP technology problems Performing system-wide analysis regarding the allocation of enterprise application technology and performance Developing analysis of technology architecture design in coordination with designers, architects, developers, and business analysts Assisting in creating and modifying strategies, resolving problems, and documenting issues and resolutions Communicating technical issues, plans, and solutions from both a business perspective and a technical perspective, providing pros and cons for recommended solutions Managing small-medium sized teams and/or work efforts at a client Providing production & migration support for implemented SAP S/4HANA and ECC Solutions Performing HANA and BASIS support on SAP S/4HANA and providing issue resolutions for customer reported problems Performing testing for solutions delivered by the BASIS teams Having experience with Cloud Solutions (i.e., SAP Workloads on Azure) Understanding functionality and expected solution and resolutions Interfacing with software package vendor and other module consultants for issue resolution regarding standard functionality, technical solution Having a broad knowledge of all SAP applications, particularly touchpoints and integrations between different SAP modules and interfaces Performing root cause analysis, solution identification, and implementation, and being responsible for solution quality and SLA Adherence for issues handled Requirements for this role include: Minimum 8 years of SAP Basis or SAP Tech Arch experience, either cloud or on-premise At least 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA BASIS support experience Good understanding of SAP Solution Manager Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Familiarity with Landscape strategy system architecture Experience in supporting end-to-end SAP for ECC and S4/HANA, testing support, Cutover prep, and Hypercare activities Preferences: Earned SAP S/4HANA Certifications SAP performance optimization SAP Archiving We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
