What You Will Do: Oversees Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) value stream operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management). Inspire, coach and hold team members accountable. Drive a team environment with high-performance expectations. Lead cross functional daily Tier 2 meeting with Contract Administrators, Operational Support Engineer, Materials Planner and Operations Lead. Directly lead 18+ shop floor employees in value stream across 3 shifts. Drive world-class safety culture and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly. Give direction on units or efforts to prioritize to protect TAT and achieve daily shipment numbers while taking labor efficiency into account. Responsible for executing the flow down process at the beginning and end of shift. Engage and schedule training to complete onboarding training for any new team members or a struggling team member. Approve PTO requests and ensure proper coverage during absence. Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record utilize concepts of RTX CORE or six sigma implementation projects. What You Will Learn: You will gain insights into employee management and development, including strategies for fostering growth, evaluating performance, and implementing development plans to support career progression. You will learn how to efficiently handle various roles and responsibilities within a manufacturing setting, including adapting to different tasks, managing multiple functions, and ensuring seamless operations across multiple areas of the production process. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. Qualifications We Prefer: Previous experience in a manufacturing or aerospace industry environment. Prior supervisory/leadership experience in an MRO shop or high-paced manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement tools. Working experience with SAP and IT Quality systems. The position supports work that covers a variety of shifts in a 24-hour/seven-day schedule. The ability to support work outside of core hours is preferred.
