Bartender
Job Summary:
The Lambertville Station Inn is seeking an experienced
Bartender
to join our fine dining team.
The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of food, liquors, aperitifs, cocktails and wine.
Essential Functions:
Present bar and wine lists to bar and restaurant guests Assess bar guest preferences and make recommendations Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests Interact with guests, take orders, and serve drinks Restock and replenish bar inventory Comply with all food and beverage and alcohol regulations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and serve wine, bottled, and draft beer Process guest bills or payments and balance cash receipts Communicate with guests to resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction Enforce rules and regulations Requirements:
At least 4years' experience year of bar and fine dining restaurant experience preferred Must be creative, team-oriented, and self-motivated Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language Must be able to follow oral and written instructions Ability to work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and time management skills Ability to clean thoroughly and keep the bar stocked and organized Moderate physical efforts required: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc. May be required to work additional hours as dictated by the workload staffing Relevant training certificate Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear The employee is frequently required to stand and walk Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus Working Conditions
