Reporting to the President and serving as a member of the senior executive team, the VPHR serves as a strategic partner to institutional leadership and colleagues at all levels to position the university’s workforce to meet current and future needs. This is an exciting moment to join NSU and play a significant role in the evolution of NSU into a premier educational, research, and healthcare institution. Responsibilities
Lead a dedicated team of approximately 40 professionals. Formulate and recommend strategic human resource policies and objectives that ensure integration of the university’s values and mission. Provide guidance to drive business strategy and value. Build organizational strategic alignment to support execution of institutional goals and the strategic plan. Stay informed on workforce trends and business environment changes. Co-lead talent and culture initiatives and build workforce capability. Qualifications
The successful candidate will have broad and contemporary knowledge of all areas of human resources and a master’s degree in HR Management, Business, Management, Public Administration, or a related field, plus at least ten years of progressive human resources leadership experience in a highly matrixed complex organization.
