Inventory Control Specialist
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours : 40 per week
Our client, a reputable logistics company, is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team in managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.
Responsibilities: - Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and shipments accurately. - Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and verify quantities. - Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and staging orders. - Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. - Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper stock rotation. - Collaborate with the warehouse team to load and unload trucks efficiently. - Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to update records and track inventory levels. - Assist in e-commerce order fulfillment processes. - Follow shipping and receiving procedures to ensure compliance with MRP guidelines.
Experience: - Proficiency in basic math for inventory counting and order verification. - Prior experience with RF scanners and warehouse operations . - Familiarity with e-commerce shipping processes is a plus. - Ability to operate reach trucks and perform load/unload tasks safely. - Knowledge of stock management principles and practices.
