Backend Automation Test Engineer

Backend Automation Test Engineer-Boston, MA Hybrid Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and automation frameworks for REST API and backend services. Conduct hands-on backend testing, including REST API testing and AWS environment testing. Utilize tools like JMeter for load testing and performance analysis. Contribute to the automation efforts for microservices and ensure robust test coverage. Required Skills & Experience: 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance. Strong experience in automating REST APIs and backend services. Proven experience with load testing tools like JMeter. Good knowledge of Python. Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Experience with microservices architecture and testing. Nice to Have: Leverage AI tools, including LLM and AI agents, to improve test automation processes. Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or any AI IDEs in automation. Experience with Appium and Robot Framework. Hands-on experience in mobile platform testing Seniority level
