ABOUT THE ROLE: The Assistant Planner provides analytical support to the Director of International Planning by executing foundational planning activities for specific product lines or regions within Skechers' Joint Ventures (JV), Subsidiaries, and Distributor Wholesale channels. This role focuses on data collection, basic analysis, and supporting inventory optimization efforts under guidance. The Assistant Planner contributes to achieving sales targets through accurate data management and assists in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Collect, organize, and maintain datasets for assigned product lines and regions across JV, Subsidiaries, and Distributor Wholesale channels, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform basic analysis of sales and inventory data to identify trends and flag potential issues within assigned areas for senior review.

• Support the development and maintenance of sales forecasts and assortment plans by gathering relevant data and preparing preliminary analyses.

• Provide data support to the Merchandising team by compiling reports and basic insights for product planning and inventory management.

• Assist in inventory management planning by monitoring stock levels and preparing turnover reports under supervision.

• Support monitoring of industry trends and competitive landscape research in assigned international markets.

• Contribute to routine projects and provide support for larger planning initiatives under direct guidance.

• Prepare standard reports and data summaries for review by senior planning staff.

• Support cross-functional communication by preparing materials and coordinating information sharing across various time zones.

• Learn from senior team members and actively participate in training opportunities to develop analytical skills.

• Assist in preparing materials and supporting documentation for presentations to senior management.

• Support the maintenance of INCORTA dashboards by ensuring data accuracy and reporting discrepancies to senior staff.

• Work with the Data Analytics team to validate data inputs and assist with basic report generation under supervision.

• Follow up on data quality issues and communicate findings to senior planning staff for resolution.

• Stay informed about industry trends and provide support for special projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Passionate about customer service and the Skechers brand in a global context Strong analytical skills with proficiency in planning software and Excel In-depth knowledge of planning principles and data analysis techniques Effective project management skills for moderately complex projects Thorough understanding of international wholesale channels and supply chain management Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly Ability to tailor messages to different audiences and contribute effectively in stakeholder meetings Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically within assigned areas Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment Flexibility to accommodate calls and meetings across multiple time zones REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of Retail Planning experience with focus on international wholesale channels Interest in international business operations Exposure to wholesale or retail business models preferred but not required

The pay range for this role is $75,000-$80,000/yr USD.
