Construction Estimator

with CSA experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator and team player with a foundation in cost and estimating. Responsibilities : Develop cost plans and estimates from concept to detailed design. Support client land acquisitions. Deliver and present updated cost plans at design milestones. Review proposed design changes and prepare estimates. Understand design stages and estimate levels. Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises. Prepare cash commit forecasts for the construction life cycle. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to prepare estimates and cost plans. Analyze labor markets and cost drivers. Support clients with monthly presentations. Deliver Life Cycle Costing models. Benchmark integration for accurate data capture. Project/Program Specific Responsibilities : Provide estimating support across life science sector projects and programs. Responsibilities Will Consist Of : Prepare benchmarking reports and develop data. Measure and estimate from a first principle basis for projects at all design stages. Be proficient in measuring using CSI Masterformat. Review 3rd party estimates and prepare reports. Prepare estimates for project change orders and review EPCM submissions. Market Sector Experience : Pharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D facilities. CGMP facilities. Project/Program Size In Dollar Value : Various, with projects ranging from $50m to $1bn+. Software Specific Requirements : CostX experience preferred but not essential. Experience in measurement software essential. Certification Requirements : AACE membership or equivalent preferred but not essential. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in a construction cost management role. Thrives in a client-facing role. Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters. Strong communication skills.
