48076 Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY:
The Post Closer will assist both the Mortgage Operations and the Post-Closing teams in all post-closing, funding and shipping of all loan activity and volume.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and approve closed loan file documentation to ensure all applicable program and investor guidelines are satisfied.
Assist with the Post-Closing Audit and delivery of all closed loan packages to Michigan First Credit Union, Agencies, as well as outside Investors.
Problem resolution for errors and omission relative to loan quality and compliance for sale to investor or agency.
This requires a working knowledge of QC requirements including TRID, origination documents, closing documents and final documents. Additionally, this task requires constructive and productive interaction with internal and external parties and team members.
Effectively manage and prioritize pipeline to ensure loans are purchased within lock expiration deadline. This requires excellent organizational and sense of urgency skills
Work closely with leadership to capitalize on agency delivery commitments to maximum profits
Perform loan deliveries in applicable agency system
Responsible for clearing any Pre-Purchase Conditions from investors in a timely manner.
Deliver closed credit packages and binders in accordance with audit requests.
Complete mortgage insurance activation, for all types of loans, conventional, FHA, VA and USDA, FHA endorsements and all related activities within required timeframes.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years mortgage experience.
Construction and/or renovation lending experience preferred
Possess strong interpersonal skills, to work effectively in a team environment.
Consistently maintain professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to team members and members of the organization.
Ability to operate PC, including input, output, and inquiry to member accounts and other account information required in the member service function.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with the differences in a basic number of products and services offered by other financial institutions to those offered by the credit union.
