Warehouse Utility Worker (Picker) 2nd Shift

Position Summary
Shipping employees perform all functions assigned by the shipping supervisor and manager, including but not limited to receiving, returns, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, loading and unloading trucks.
Schedule:
1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Sunday-Thursday Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform tasks such as receiving, stocking, order selection, pallet consolidation, unloading, and loading, as assigned by the schedule. Accurately pick orders using pick tickets, build and wrap pallets from top to bottom, and stage them in the correct shipping lanes. Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently upon completion of required training and certification. Equipment may include box cutters, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other heavy machinery. Utilize specialized ordering and inventory systems as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies. Follow all SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines while working in the plant. Additional tasks may be assigned by your supervisor or manager. Experience
Previous warehouse or inventory management experience preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems and ERP processes preferred Job Qualifications
English fluency required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English Able to communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and external partners (e.g., buyers, customers) Ability to learn and retain knowledge of products stored and handled in the distribution center Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including proper use of equipment and heavy lifting Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently under moderate supervision Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable Basic computer proficiency and solid leadership skills are required Working & Environmental Conditions
You’ll work in diverse environments, including:
A wet, refrigerated manufacturing facility (below 40°F) A dry warehouse (up to 85°F) Freezer storage areas (as low as –10°F) Work areas may be tight and loud, with continuous exposure to noise levels over 85 dBA. You'll be required to follow strict safety protocols and consistently wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes. The position involves repetitive tasks that must be performed safely and efficiently.
Physical Demands
To succeed in this role, you must be able to:
Stand and walk throughout the entire shift Lift and carry up to 50 lbs continuously Push/pull up to 100 lbs with consistent motion Bend, kneel, twist, squat, and reach overhead with both arms Climb ladders and stairs, and work at heights when needed Use your hands frequently for gripping and handling materials Work near moving machinery Pass a pre-employment physical exam Why Join Suja?
