Role overview As part of the AML/CFT & OFAC Compliance team, you will help ensure that the business stays in regulatory compliance and within Cross River’s risk appetite. As a CDD Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will perform QA reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the AML/CFT program and that processes align with policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Execute assigned QA testing across various Line of Business processes related to Cross River’s CDD program such as partner onboarding, account opening, ongoing monitoring, and periodic reviews
Present findings/exceptions to management in a concise, well-written manner that explains why the process was deficient in a risk-based context
Use independent judgement to ensure testing areas adhere to all policies and procedures
Assess analysis and supporting documentation so an independent third party would understand the rationale and evidence
Escalate significant issues identified through QA reviews
Assist in the development and enhancement of CDD QA processes
Assist other team members as required
Support regulatory and internal audit inquiries and examinations; respond to ad hoc requests from process owners and senior management
Promote a strong compliance culture within the company
Complete assigned training and ongoing education to stay abreast of regulatory changes
Qualifications
3+ years experience in a quality control/quality assurance role
3+ years experience in a KYC/CDD related role with working understanding of AML laws and their application
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ability to learn new systems and processes
Proactive and results oriented, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Integrity, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
