Overview

The Yale Comprehensive Movement Disorders Center delivers holistic, patient-centered care and advances research in movement disorders. Our team provides specialized expertise across the full spectrum of movement disorders and develops more than 7,000 comprehensive treatment plans through a multidisciplinary care model. We collaborate with neurosurgery, behavioral neurology, neurogenetics, sleep neurology, neuropsychology, psychiatry, autonomics, radiology, neuro-ophthalmology, and pharmacy to advance compassionate care and cutting-edge research. Yale is a premier training institution for two-year movement disorders clinical and research fellows who receive individually tailored instruction. We offer specialized clinics and programs including the Adams Center for Parkinson and Atypical Parkinsonian Disorders, Memory and Movement Aging Clinic, Wilson Disease Center of Excellence (one of seven nationwide), Yale Center for Restless Legs Syndrome (one of ten Quality Care Centers nationwide), functional movement disorder program, therapeutic botulinum toxin clinics, and comprehensive advanced therapeutics and deep brain stimulation programs. Close collaboration across disciplines supports a comprehensive approach to diagnosis, management, and research in movement disorders, including biomarker discovery and evaluation of behavioral and pharmacologic interventions. Responsibilities

Provide clinical expertise in the diagnosis and comprehensive management of patients across the full spectrum of movement disorders. Utilize conservative therapies, medication management, and chemodenervation techniques for movement disorders. Assess and manage deep brain stimulation candidacy and programming; collaborate on program development and research within the division. Engage in education and mentorship to train the next generation of subspecialty experts; participate in collaborative, mentored research and program development. Contribute to a highly collaborative, supportive environment that fosters career growth within the area of interest. Qualifications

MD or equivalent required; board certified or board eligible in Neurology. Completed fellowship in Movement Disorders. Must meet criteria for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut. Faculty rank determined by experience. Application and Contact
