Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Land Development Department Manager who will perform duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall civil/site land development discipline in Maitland, FL. Oversee, direct, and manage the work effort of assigned staff. Oversee the professional development of the assigned staff. Responsibilities
Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects Reviews monthly productivity and man-hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed Assigns projects to staff and schedules work Evaluates employee performance in accordance with company policy Oversees assigned staff development and advancement Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering 12+ years in related field Professional licensure in area of expertise Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees Strategic thinking Effective delegation skills Collaboration Ability to hold others accountable Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions What We Offer
