Overview
Environmental Engineer to support a wide variety of environmental projects. Candidate should have field experience at Superfund and other contaminated sites, experience running complex field programs, preparing planning documents and reports for environmental characterization and remediation projects. Experience evaluating remedial alternatives and engineering design of remedial approaches for contaminated soil, sediment, and groundwater. Role may involve leading tasks as a project technical leader or project manager. Responsibilities
Perform remedial construction oversight and quality control Estimate remedial costs for feasibility studies Author feasibility studies Perform surface and subsurface soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and other field data collection Perform engineering design for environmental projects, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and development of operation, maintenance, and monitoring plans Conduct sustainability and/or resilience reviews or designs Review draft assessments and calculations for compliance with federal, state and local regulations Work on a variety of assignments including field studies, research investigations, construction oversight, data interpretation, evaluation, or report preparation Learn project management techniques and CDM Smith management system Manage tasks on large projects or phases of small projects Develop external client interaction and marketing skills Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline Professional Engineer (PE) license 7 years of related experience Domestic and/or international travel may be required Equivalent additional directly related experience in lieu of a degree Employment Details
