Overview
British Swim School of Campbell-Almaden is seeking an Aquatics Manager. This part-time role offers potential to grow to full-time as the program expands. You will support creating a fun and professional learning environment for customers and swimmers, work with the franchise owner and instructors, help shape the school’s culture, and assist with customer recruitment and retention. Flexible hours, including a regular weekend day and evenings, are required, with travel to multiple pool locations within the assigned region. In-depth training on the British Swim School curriculum is provided. Responsibilities
Provide swim lessons to adults and children according to British Swim School curriculum Schedule, onboard, and train swim instructors; manage in-water and on-deck activities Use instructor development tools to evaluate performance and provide regular feedback and in-service training Work with customers to provide support when managing difficult situations Assist with business growth, recruitment, and retention Possible assistance with recruitment, hiring, and interviews What we’re looking for
Passion for water and commitment to drowning prevention Experience and enjoyment working with children Supervisory experience in a similar setting and/or leadership experience Lifeguard certification is preferred; if not available or expired, certification will be provided Fluency in English; additional languages helpful but not required Compensation
Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour About the role
