$135,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr MUST be in NYC 2x/week in office. NO exceptions. MUST have strong digital performance experience. About The Role
We are seeking a Senior level, Digital Media Director to lead client solutions, shape business-driving media strategies, and guide teams in delivering measurable impact. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, with a strong focus on performance media, while also bringing big-picture thinking that connects brand and performance. What You'll Do Client & Business Leadership
Serve as the senior strategic partner for clients, leading business and media strategy conversations. Build holistic media strategies that connect brand objectives with performance-driven outcomes, with expertise in lower-funnel tactics / channels. Translate client briefs into actionable strategies and executional plans that drive measurable business growth. Identify and cultivate opportunities for account expansion and agency growth. Strategic Development & Delivery
Lead the planning process from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with client goals and market dynamics. Partner with media, analytics, and creative teams to deliver integrated solutions across channels. Provide thought leadership on emerging platforms, data-driven strategies, and performance optimization. Mentor and inspire a team of strategists and media professionals, setting a high bar for strategic excellence. Establish best practices and frameworks for client engagement, campaign development, and performance measurement. Foster a collaborative culture that balances creativity, accountability, and results. Qualifications
10+ years of experience in media, advertising, or marketing, with proven expertise in performance media strategy and execution. Track record of leading multimillion-dollar client relationships and driving business growth. Hands-on experience with media channels including Digital Display, Digital Video, Paid Social, Programmatic Working knowledge of DTC, OTC and CPG verticals a plus. Strong strategic acumen with the ability to connect client business challenges to actionable media solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with executive presence in front of C-level audiences. Experienced people leader who can develop talent and build high-performing teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while balancing big-picture vision with executional detail.
