Your leadership will guide a team of dedicated educators, ensuring the delivery of a developmentally appropriate curriculum and the provision of a safe and supportive atmosphere for our preschoolers to thrive. The Preschool director is responsible for overseeing the overall administration, operations, and educational programs of a preschool or early childhood education center. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to create a positive and enriching environment for both students and staff. The Preschool director plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, implementing curriculum standards, and fostering a supportive community for children, parents, and staff. Leadership and Administration: Provide visionary leadership for the preschool, setting and implementing goals and objectives in line with the mission and values of the organization. Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Manage administrative tasks, including budgeting, staffing, and record-keeping. Lead Nourishment: Daily track and record new potential families through the CORE Lead Portal. Continuous nourishing leads through the process of 1st engagement to enrollment. Curriculum Development Oversee the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of young children. Staff Management Recruit, train, and supervise teaching and support staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Parent and Community Engagement Establish and maintain open communication with parents through regular meetings, updates, and events. Collaborate with the community to build partnerships and enhance the preschool’s resources and programs. Licensing and Compliance Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to licensing and accreditation standards. Financial Management Manage the preschool budgets, allocating resources efficiently and effectively. Monitor financial records and report back to Senior Directors. o Payroll Percentages o Overtime o A/R o Billing Forecast Professional Development Stay informed about current trends and best practices in early childhood education. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance leadership skills and stay abreast of changes in the field. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or bachelor's degree with 12+ credit hours in ECE Admin 1 & 2 The Preschool director plays a vital role in shaping the educational experience for young children and creating a positive foundation for their future academic success.
