Hourly Pay Range: $56.18 - $87.08 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: System Director, Coding-Professional Location: Warrenville, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, Onsite Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, Onsite Required Travel: Potential travel Position Summary: This position is responsible for leading revenue cycle initiatives related to billing and coding support, including supervision of the coding support staff. The Director collaborates with Practice Managers, Admin Directors/AVPs, Information Systems, Medical Informatics, Coding and Chargemaster Compliance, and other departments to improve revenue cycle performance. Responsibilities include identifying operational and technological improvements, developing workplans, and implementing changes across the organization. The Director also monitors daily revenue cycle operations to ensure workflow adherence, performance standards, and goal achievement. What you will do: Lead the implementation of Claims Manager, including flag logic development, report review, testing, staff education, and financial impact analysis. Manage revenue cycle initiatives related to coding support, charge capture, and cash collections, including evaluating technology, ROI calculation, project management, staff training, and optimization. Stay informed about industry trends and technology to identify new opportunities or issues. Review new Resolute functionalities, coordinate with billing and Epic teams for customization, testing, and staff training. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of system functionalities and communicate enhancements proactively. Develop strategies to increase cash collections and monitor performance post-implementation. Develop and enforce policies for cash handling aligned with audit requirements. Lead bi-weekly meetings with revenue cycle managers to address issues, prioritize coding opportunities, and track progress. Support practices with charge and collection activities, troubleshooting, workflow development, and report analysis. Coordinate with CDM, Finance, and Information Systems for pricing setup and updates. Analyze denial reports to identify trends, reduce denials, and project financial impacts. Supervise Coding Support Specialists, including hiring, training, and performance management, and coordinate with other CSS staff. Identify trends in work queues, propose system modifications, and educate providers on error reduction. Ensure timely review and update of coding codes and compliance with Medicare regulations. Adhere to organizational policies and assist in compliance reporting. What you will need: Education:

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred. Experience:

7+ years in healthcare billing, operations, or coding; 4+ years in management. Certifications:

RHIT, RHIA, CCS-P, and CPC required. Skills:

Project management, leadership, communication, coding knowledge (ICD-9, CPT-4, HCPCS), understanding of physician operations, proficiency in MS Excel, analytical skills.
