Job Summary
We are seeking experienced AWS Data Engineers to join our Cloud Data Platform Engineering Team.
These roles will support two key initiatives: one focused on Data Replication as a Service and the other on Database as a Service.
The ideal candidates will bring a strong mix of development, platform engineering, and infrastructure skills, with deep expertise in AWS cloud technologies and data migration.
Key Responsibilities Develop and support cloud-native data solutions using AWS services. Build and maintain infrastructure using Python and AWS CloudFormation. Design and implement AWS Lambda functions and Step Functions for data workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data replication from on-prem DB2 to cloud environments. Work with AWS DMS (Data Migration Services) and Click Replicate (Atunity) to ensure data synchronization. Support cloud database management across Aurora, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and other platforms. Write and manage GitHub workflows and actions for automation and deployment. Participate in infrastructure planning, optimization, and cloud migration efforts. Provide production support and troubleshoot data pipeline issues. Contribute to architectural discussions and ensure alignment with cloud strategy. Required Qualifications
Strong experience with Python and AWS CloudFormation. Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and Step Functions. Proficiency in AWS RDS, Aurora, and DMS. Experience with Click Replicate (Atunity) for data replication. Solid understanding of cloud database management (Aurora, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Familiarity with GitHub workflows and CI/CD automation. Experience with PowerShell scripting; Java is a plus. Strong AWS cloud expertise and infrastructure knowledge. Ability to articulate business needs served by technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hybrid cloud environments involving DB2 on-prem and cloud platforms. Background in enterprise data migration and replication strategies. Exposure to cloud transformation programs and data platform modernization.
