Environmental Services Director
to oversee our maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry teams. This position plays a key role in ensuring our, staff, and visitors experience a safe, well-maintained, and home-like setting every day. What You’ll Do
Lead and supervise our
environmental services team
(maintenance, housekeeping, laundry). Ensure our facilities and grounds are kept in excellent condition—inside and out. Oversee
preventive maintenance
for equipment, HVAC systems, fire alarms, and more. Maintain a strong focus on
safety, infection control, and compliance
with state/federal guidelines. Manage supply inventory and budget responsibly. Support and staff with
timely work orders, event setup, and special projects . Rotate on-call for maintenance emergencies. What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED required. Experience in
supervision, maintenance, or environmental services
(healthcare setting). Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage budgets and coordinate outside service providers. Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and groundskeeping. A passion for working with older adults and creating a safe, home-like environment. Why Bethany Home?
