Schrödinger seeks a
Postdoctoral Scientist
to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods. This is a one-year position within the Therapeutics Group, focused on drug discovery research in the area of antimalarial drug resistance in collaboration with an academic lab. Who will love this job:
An experienced scientist who can use SPR and/or ITC to measure the affinity of protein/ligand interactions, and who can solve protein/ligand structures by X-ray crystallography A computational modeler who’s familiar with the Schrödinger platform A proficient Python programmer An excellent verbal and written communicator who’s confident conducting independent research What you’ll do:
Execute wet-lab biophysical ligand-binding experiments, such as SPR and ITC Make computational modeling calculations, such as molecular dynamics and free energy perturbation simulations What you should have:
PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or a related field Proficiency in measuring the affinity of protein/ligand interactions Pay and perks:
