Assistant Professor, Developmental Psychology CAHSS

The University of Denver's Department of Psychology is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Developmental Psychology area. The ideal candidate will have a strong research program and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. The Department of Psychology values a collaborative and integrative approach to psychological science, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to this mission. The Developmental Psychology area has a broad research and training program that encompasses prenatal through adult development, and the candidate should have expertise in this area. The position requires a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or a related field, as well as a strong research record and potential for high-quality teaching and mentoring. The candidate should also have expertise in inclusive pedagogical practices and a commitment to working with diverse student and community populations. Responsibilities

Maintain an ongoing research program Teach 4 course equivalents per year Supervise graduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations Participate in department, college, and university citizenship and service activities Requirements

Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or a related field Strong research skills and potential for high-quality teaching and mentoring Expertise in inclusive pedagogical practices Strong oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications

Strong programmatic research portfolio Evidence of funding commensurate with career stage Evidence of high-quality teaching and mentoring Strong quantitative skills The University of Denver is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
