The University of Denver's Department of Psychology is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Developmental Psychology area. The ideal candidate will have a strong research program and a commitment to undergraduate and graduate education. The Developmental Psychology area has a broad research and training program that encompasses prenatal through adult development, and the candidate should have expertise in this area. The position requires a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or a related field, as well as a strong research record and potential for high-quality teaching and mentoring. The candidate should also have expertise in inclusive pedagogical practices and a commitment to working with diverse student and community populations. Responsibilities
Maintain an ongoing research program Teach 4 course equivalents per year Supervise graduate student research projects, theses, and dissertations Participate in department, college, and university citizenship and service activities Requirements
Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or a related field Strong research skills and potential for high-quality teaching and mentoring Expertise in inclusive pedagogical practices Strong oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications
