Overview
Director - Preschool / Early Learning Center at The Learning Experience. We are seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as a Preschool Center Director. Responsibilities
Lead by example, displaying passion for positively impacting children and staff; build trust, rapport, and inclusivity with diverse groups. Ensure the center environment adheres to health and safety SOPs and complies with local/state licensing regulations. Build and maintain a highly qualified staff through sourcing/hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing engagement. Guide teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum and staff training activities. Drive business results through family retention, enrollment growth, and efficient operations; manage accounts receivable/payable, generate monthly P&L, and oversee payroll. Engage prospective families via in-person and virtual center tours; organize community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment. Manage licensing requirements diligently, ensuring classroom and school-file compliance. Cultivate strong relationships with staff and families, fostering trust and engagement. Conduct center tours and engage with new families warmly during visits and via email. Conduct regular reviews and classroom observations; participate in marketing efforts and community outreach as needed.
Qualifications
More than 5 years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least 3 years (required). State-specific Administrative or Director credential, plus any other state guidelines, CDA training, and 40-hour director training (required). Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (preferred). Strong knowledge of state licensing rules/regulations. Willingness to undergo a background check as a licensing requirement (usually after offer).
