The School Psychologist supports students with mental health and developmental issues and assists in qualifying students for additional services. They provide on-site psychological services to students under state and district jurisdiction.
Minimum Requirements:
Current State licensure and/or certification in the state of assignment
Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
Master’s degree in psychology preferred
Current CPR certification, if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Qualifications/Licensure:
MD School Psychologist License
Work Environment:
IN-PERSON ONLY, NO REMOTE/HYBRID. Assessments and services to a diverse urban student population.
Experience Required:
At least 1 year as a School Psychologist
Caseload:
20-25 assessments per year; 15-20 students
Orientation:
MD online training provided in the first week
Dress Code & Parking:
School Professional
Credentialing:
MD 486, CPS, Fingerprints + Badge at District HQ, MD School Psych License, MSDE Verification
