Sr Specialist Software Engineering Job Location: 211 S Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 Our Sr Specialist Software Engineering role involves delivering software applications or services end-to-end with a focus on automation. Responsibilities include gathering and reviewing software requirements/user stories, providing estimates, creating software design specifications, collaborating with engineers/architects to assess hardware and software interactions, applying development methodologies, and creating automated test plans/strategies. You will validate test environments and data, implement code fixes, and report outcomes. The role includes working across dynamic testing types (security, interface, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance) and supporting deployment, production issues, and environments. Responsibilities also include building and maintaining REST APIs using Spring Boot with attention to performance and secure interactions; developing and supporting integration workflows using Apache Camel; deploying applications in Kubernetes clusters; working with various databases; automating business processes with Camunda; configuring and managing Kafka; utilizing the ELK stack for monitoring and debugging; performing unit, integration, and UAT testing; and troubleshooting issues across development, staging, and production systems. The role requires knowledge of Java, Groovy, Junit, Maven, Camel, Gradle, Mockito, Spring/Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD concepts, Git, GitHub/GitLab, Microservices, and related tools. It also includes familiarity with cloud services and related technologies (e.g., Cloud Provider, Cloud-based authentication/secret management/storage/functions), Dynatrace, Swagger/OpenAPI, and cloud-hosted databases. Requirements:
Bachelor degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, or Electronic Engineering plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or related area with Java, Groovy, Junit, Maven, Camel, Gradle, Mockito, Spring, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD concepts, Git, GitHub/GitLab, Microservice architecture, and Workflow orchestration; experience with TDD/BDD, Cloud services, and related tools. Salary: Our Sr Specialist Software Engineering earn between
$134,971 - $158,400
