Overview
T-Rex is looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to work on a program in the Annapolis Junction area in support of the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities
Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
Utilize modern tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and more.
Collaborate with teams on large and demonstrable projects, preferably built on AWS with scripting such as Bash, Ruby, Python.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Set up a CI/CD pipeline.
Understand Agile software development and DevOps practices and work with peers on mid-to large-size teams.
Focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those into functional, production-ready code and infrastructure.
Required skills: AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS); Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Registries); IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation); CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
Self-driven, self-learner who shares knowledge and participates actively in a team environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university and sixteen (16) years of experience.
CWIP IAT Level I required.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with FSP security clearance is required.
