We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about technology, driven by innovation, and eager to explore what’s possible. As part of a small, multi-disciplinary team, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing and building solutions that directly impact users. You’ll collaborate closely with both end users and fellow technologists to ensure our tools and applications truly meet customer needs. Responsibilities
Create discovery and automation tools to enable geospatial and intelligence analysis of complex problems utilizing an array of data types and sources. Develop enabling software solutions using a variety of scripting languages that address real world user requirements; writes and debugs custom code and creates user documentation. Monitor and understand high level operational geospatial processes. Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively. Minimum Qualifications
U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance; willing to work onsite 50% of the time or as mission needs dictate. Degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, GIS) or equivalent experience. 8+ years of technical experience developing custom software solutions for web, on-prem, and cloud environments. 8+ years of experience performing data extraction, manipulation, and visualization using Java, Python, R, and/or JavaScript. Capable of working effectively with geographically distributed operations and development teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with data concepts including visualization, management, integration, user interfaces, and databases. Strong Linux skills with experience in hybrid cloud/on-prem architectures (AWS, C2S, OpenStack, etc.). Experience with big data technologies such as Kubernetes, Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Accumulo, and ElasticSearch. Experience with workflow and streaming tools such as Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or Kafka. Knowledge of common industry software tools, DevSecOps practices, and working with open-source resources in government computing environments. Adaptable, solution-focused mindset that embraces emerging technology enablers. Compensation
The Base Pay For This Position Within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, The Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, And For All Other States Is $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 Benefits
