Entry-level position focused on software engineering for the airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance mission space. Development and application of advanced methods and research techniques in applying software to solve challenging problems. Opportunity to work directly with technical peers, chief engineers, systems engineering and program managers within the company. Responsibilities
Performs software analysis, design, development, and testing of software products Collaborates with software and systems engineers on product through all phases of software development Evaluates commercial and free or open-source software (FOSS) technologies for use in our software products Conceptualizes and prototypes alternate architecture approaches Contributes to briefing material used at customer reviews and technical interchange meetings Other related job duties, as assigned Required
Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in Engineering or Computer Science Preferred: DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university Skills
Experience with C, C++, or similar systems programming languages targeting Linux platforms Comfort with command line interfaces Experience writing shell and/or Python scripts to automate tasks Understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnet masking, etc. Basic understanding of object-oriented software design, distributed computing concepts, and embedded software concepts Ability to multi-task in a highly collaborative team environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Salary
Salary Range: $69,784 - $98,760 Additional Information
Voyager offers a comprehensive compensation package including competitive salary, annual bonus plan, PTO, health benefits, retirement savings, wellness program, and other benefits.
