The product solves marketing challenges for Enterprise customers and supports the needs of candidates applying for this position. The Software Engineering department at MessageGears is involved in the entire software development lifecycle from requirement definition, design and implementation, as well as promotion and support. The Full Stack Software Engineer role develops the entire customer-facing user experience. The platform connects directly to customer data sets and enables the user to design full marketing campaigns including audience filtering, segmentation, content recommendations, campaign scheduling and rich multi-variate tests. The platform is heavily integrated with cloud services to elastically scale delivery for billions of messages a day.
This position is hybrid in Atlanta (three days a week in Midtown location).

Responsibilities
Work with your Scrum Team and Product to break down Epics into User Stories and Stories into Developer Tasks Implement the functionality, test automation, and Data persistence tasks Perform peer reviews on Scrum Team code changes Validate and Test your code changes in the QA environment Collaborate with our support team on customer escalations Monitor and troubleshoot application performance Identify challenges and opportunities for improvement of team delivery Conduct all business in accordance with MessageGears policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Knowledge and abilities required
Agile Software Development 3+ years of experience in a SaaS or on-premise product-based software business 3+ years of experience developing in Java 8 or Java 11 with Spring 4 or Spring 5 3+ years of experience in Front-end development using React/Angular Experience with Testing Tools (JUnit, Groovy, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) Collaboration and communication
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal. Can explain complex technical concepts to technical stakeholders. Comfort working with distributed teams across large time zone differences Ability to plan work and raise blockers without waiting for meetings Proactive about status updates and using asynchronous collaboration Culturally aware and adaptable in cross-border work environments Desired exposure to
