Project Analyst (SETA 2- Cyber)

ICF . Please note: This role is contingent upon contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award. What You Will Do Support a wide range of technology, research and development, and programmatic tasks. Provide technical and program support to program directors managing an R&D portfolio of awardees. Assist with management of awardees, milestone capture, and development of program briefings and technical reports for NSF leadership and interagency partners. Coordinate and participate in technical and programmatic discussions with government, industry, and other stakeholders to initiate new partnerships and program concepts. Coordinate and support technical meetings and conferences. Provide high-level systems engineering and programmatic expertise to support the full life cycle of process and system improvement for current, expanding, and new TIP programs. Conduct data analysis (in coordination with the data analytics team) to draw valuable insights for programmatic decisions and improve communication. Ensure a positive user experience for various programs. As needed, serve as a team lead, managing the implementation of tasks and team member management. Provide support to Project Directors developing an awareness of cybersecurity concerns faced by small businesses. Collect and document information on cybersecurity concerns during potential award recommendation processes. Provide fair, consistent and well documented recommendations. What You Will Bring With You Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance Minimum of 10 years of research and development expertise, managing research projects, and project management experience. BS/BA degree or equivalent education and/or experience. What We Would Like You To Bring With You Master’s or PhD degree or equivalent education Proficiency with project management tools, system development and mapping tools, and data analytic tools and processes. Experience with engaging startups and small businesses, as well as knowledge of cybersecurity concerns faced by small business and foreign security concerns. Knowledge of transition to practice processes, including commercialization strategies. Experience working in the innovation ecosystem, including high-growth technology enterprises, and with a federal government funding research agency in a SETA role. Preferred familiarity with NSF's partnerships landscape study. Ability to demonstrate technical skills and experience in managing research projects, data analysis and visualization, survey implementation, project strategy and management. Proficiency in interpreting and executing industry-standard project management tools, technical note capture and reporting, and administrative duties such as scheduling meetings and coordinating deliverable feedback. High proficiency using Microsoft Office tools. Professional Skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective communication channels with federal technical staff and programmatic contractor personnel.
