Responsibilities

You will operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.

You will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process.

You will assist clients and other Digital Risk professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents.

Document the business processes dependent on information technology.

Serve as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance.

Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems and communicate engagement issues to the team and client management through written and verbal means.

Demonstrate strong project management skills and use current technology to enhance deliverables.

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor’s or master’s degree

A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser for a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within industry

Experience in at least one of: financial statement audits; internal or operational audits; Service Organization Controls Reporting engagements; ERP security and control reviews (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft)

Ability to travel outside of the assigned office location at least 50% of the time; willingness to commute within the region

Valid passport

Ideally, you’ll also have

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline

Certifications such as CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT are desired; non-certified hires are expected to pursue certification for promotion eligibility

What We Offer We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $84,400 to $154,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $101,300 to $175,800. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off options. EY supports a team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model, with most client-serving roles expected to work in person 40-60% of the time over a project or engagement. Vacation is flexible; additional paid holidays and leaves are provided for well-being.
