SharePoint / Power Platform Developer role at Talent Groups. Hybrid details: Columbia, SC area on site 1-2 times/week. Duration: 6 months to start. Job Description

To provide expert-level SharePoint and Power Platform development services to support the modernization, automation, and optimization of SharePoint environment, including integration with Microsoft 365 services, and development of custom solutions aligned with business goals and compliance standards. Daily Duties / Responsibilities

Works under limited supervision in leading the maintenance and enhancements to agency s intranet including analysis, requirements, systems and UI/UX design, planning and developing. Includes site provisioning, web parts, workflows and branding. Leverages existing M365 tools such as the MS Power Suite, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc. to enhance collaboration within the agency s m365 ecosystem. Design and implement Power Apps and Power Automate flows to automate business processes. Develops solutions to be accessible and user friendly on both desktop computers and mobile devices. Develops technical documentation to enable the agency s help desk and technicians to provide ongoing support. Works with system administrators to ensure security controls are in place. Maximizes security controls using industry best practices. Develops user documentation. Complies with agency policies; CJIS security guidance; security standards. Conducts formal and informal meetings communicating directly with the IT team, business employees, and vendor partners. Leads technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions on SharePoint and Power Platform customization, automation, and modernization. Provides guidance to team on best practices of SharePoint and Power Platform governance. Supports DEVOPS-based environment management (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD) with controlled releases. Weekly status reports to management. Required Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance)

At least 10 years SharePoint development experience. Proficiency in SharePoint Online and Office 365: strong understanding of features, functionality, and capabilities. Experience in designing and developing intranets using SharePoint 365, including creating custom layouts, features, and functionalities. Knowledge of SharePoint customization: customizing sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts to meet business requirements. Power suite expertise: proficiency in Office 365 Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) and addons to enhance functionality, automate processes, and streamline. Strong programming skills: C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell. Understanding of information architecture to organize content effectively within the intranet. Security and compliance knowledge: familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards related to SharePoint Online. Communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and provide training and support to end users. Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions. Personalization skills: experience in implementing personalized user experiences within the intranet (targeting, dashboards, notifications). Strong UI/UX knowledge and skills; proactive and self-motivated. Preferred Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance)

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems/technology management or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Certifications

Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, or similar certifications (preferred, not required).
