JOB DESCRIPTION
As an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer III in Corporate Technology, you will work in a dynamic, agile team to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Depending on the team that you join, you could be developing features that give our customers and clients more control over how they bank with us, strategizing on how big data can make our trading systems quicker, creating the next innovation in payments for merchants, or supporting the integration of our private and public cloud platforms. Job Responsibilities Participate in design and develop scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner using Java or Python and JavaScript to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams Design, write, comment and unit test code to confirm software modules are of the highest quality Build Microservices that will run on the bank's internal cloud and the public cloud platform Collaborate with teams in multiple regions and time zones Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team Handle critical and time sensitive concurrent tasks with supervision and properly escalate situations as appropriate Maintain technical acumen by pursuing formal and informal learning opportunities about technology, JPMorgan Chase products, and financial services Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, to improve delivery flow across product and technology Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Proficient in Web application development (HTML, JavaScript) leveraging frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS) Building RESTful backend applications (Spring boot) Proficiency in one or more modern programming language (Java, Python) Design/Building/Maintaining API services, knowledge of Microservices Design Patterns Experience with relational enterprise databases (Oracle and/or SQL Server) Knowledge of SQL and query optimization concepts (TSQL and/or PL/SQL) Applying Process automation design principles and patterns Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Working proficiency in SDLC CI/CD Execution (GitHub, Jenkins, SNOR, Spinnaker, AIM etc.) Good understanding of Change management process (ServiceNow) Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals BS. or MS. in computer science, information systems, math, business, or engineering Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills AWS knowledge/certification (huge plus) Knowledge on Hadoop platforms (Cloudera/Horton works) Unix shell scripting and/or Windows scripting (PowerShell, Perl, Batch scripts) Scheduling tools like Autosys or Control M About the Company
