Job Description
As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site - Multiple Shifts in Prince George, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. You will work as a Part-Time Security Officer using our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability, giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you while gaining site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This role offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities within Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $15.96 / Hour
Job Schedule
Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities and follow site protocols in events such as fires or medical emergencies.
Document observations and incidents in written reports and maintain accurate records as required by site policy.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures relevant to the food and beverage environment, including those related to hygiene and restricted areas.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
