Billing Implementation Specialist (BIS) at

eClinicalWorks . This is a billing implementation position where the individual assists and trains the client with implementing the PM portion of the integrated EMR-PM solution, meeting deadlines set by the Project Manager. The BIS is the primary billing contact between the client during pre-go live and post go live implementation, collaborating with the Project Manager, Business Analyst, and EMR Trainer to ensure billing setup and workflow align with the clinical side of the software. Through Billing Discovery and Billing Setup calls, the BIS gathers the client’s billing requirements related to the client’s specialty (Private practice, Health Center, Rural Health Center, Ambulatory Surgical Centers, UB or Sliding Fee Schedule Setup). Ensure cash flow is not negatively impacted during the transition to eClinicalWorks and provide best practice recommendations during the cash flow monitoring phase. During the post go live phase, the BIS conducts onsite or remote billing training to ensure client adoption and maintains positive client relations to build a referenceable client by the end of the implementation process. Responsibilities

Evaluating the client's billing needs (HCFA/UB/Dental/Vision/Sliding Fee Schedules and other specialty requirements). Set up the client’s system and train them on using eClinicalWorks software based on their workflow using best billing practices. Collaborate with eClinicalWorks team members to deliver successful billing training sessions. Identify eClinicalWorks billing modules to implement based on organizational structure and requirements to ensure adoption of the product. Evaluate financial health assessment reports and recommend actions to mitigate potential cash flow risk with best billing practices. Understand clearinghouse enrollment concepts and guide clients through enrollment for claims and Electronic Remittance Advice. Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live training support. Analyze the client’s financial health monthly/weekly to identify reimbursement opportunities and recommend setup/workflow changes; identify denial trends and contributing factors to financial performance. Prepare and present external/internal client-facing presentations. Make workflow recommendations to improve back-office operations with understanding of end-of-month processes and claims lifecycle. Maintain positive KPIs as set by Department Leads. Conduct training sessions using Teams/GoToMeeting/LogMeIn and maintain professional conduct during virtual sessions. Provide clear written and verbal communication, including meeting minutes after each call. Work independently and as part of a remote team; participate in weekly team meetings. Maintain attention to detail and timely follow-through to meet deadlines. Maintain a secure home workspace and follow HIPAA/PHI guidelines. Demonstrate strong customer service. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience / Education

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred Adheres to all company policies and mandatory compliance protocols as required by

eCW Bachelor's Degree and/or minimum of 3-5 years medical billing experience 3 years working knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPCS coding 3 years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial payers claims processing 3 years working knowledge of EOB/ERAs and AR Financial Reports – reading & posting, refunds are a must 3 years working knowledge of dental, UB, HCFA and Workers' Compensation claim submission payer requirements 3 years working knowledge of Clearinghouse functionality 3+ years of medical billing experience with knowledge of RHC/ASC/FQHC/Vision billing requirements preferred 3+ years of client-facing experience with strong professional presentation and communication skills Travel up to 20% for client onsite visits Experience with implementation of EHR software and/or training is a plus Other Skills
