Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist
to join our team in Springfield, VA. Primary Job Duties: Collect, process data, and perform data analysis. Integrate, protect, and maintain data in DBMS. Clean, massage, and organize data. Perform ad hoc analysis and present results clearly. Communicate complex quantitative analysis using storytelling and visualization. Create, deploy, and maintain cloud applications for data migration and production processes. Develop tools to extract features and metadata from various sources, including raster and vector data. Write and maintain Python scripts in ArcGIS to improve production efficiency. Support Business Process Re-engineering. Perform data conversion and migration. Conduct Business Analytics. Basic Qualifications: Quantitative Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related experience or a related Master's degree with 7 years of experience. Proficiency in programming (Python, Pig, Java, JavaScript, SQL, R), spatial analysis, data mining, database structures, and visualization. Experience in statistical and mathematical modeling. Experience managing data science projects, data mining, and spatio-temporal analysis. Familiarity with Docker, Jupyter Hub, GIT. Preferred Qualifications: Quantitative PhD. Experience with deep learning for data science. Proficiency in 2+ programming languages, 2+ data visualization tools, and 2+ cloud technologies. Experience with Windows/Linux CLI.
