Senior Systems Administrator
to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will provide technical support and systems engineering for the analysis, design, integration, installation, testing, and lifecycle support of existing systems. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Perform system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity. Recommend and help define policies and protocols that lead to efficient operations and improve the integrity of the systems. Develop and maintain technical documents, including internal policies, procedures, and build instructions. Develop and maintain scripts to automate work and perform it more efficiently. Coordinate with other offices to perform patch management, ensure configuration compliance, and provide asset security. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a related area and 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area. Must have the following certifications: AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS Solution Architect Professional, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology Service Management. Experience with AWS cloud hosting.
