Role Overview

We\'re seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our growing engineering team and contribute to the development of next-generation collaborative mobile robots. You\'ll work on cutting-edge features across our technology stack including vision systems, navigation algorithms, and motion planning while supporting field deployments and customer integrations.

Key Responsibilities Feature Development (70%)

Vision Systems: Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for object detection, asset recognition, and scene understanding.

SLAM: Implement and enhance simultaneous localization and mapping algorithms for dynamic manufacturing environments.

Motion Planning: Develop path planning algorithms to safety and optimally navigate dynamic manufacturing and warehousing environment.

Edge AI: Optimize deep learning models for real-time inference on embedded AGX Platforms

Integration and Deployment Support (30%)

Collaborate with field teams to integrate robots into customer facilities

Debug and resolve technical issues during deployment phases

Conduct on-site testing and validation of robotic systems

Work with System Integrators to customize solutions for specific customer needs

Support POC (Proof of Concept) development and demonstrations

Technical Requirements Required Skills

Programming: Proficient in Python and C++, experience with ROS/ROS2

Computer Vision: Experience with OpenCV, PCL, or similar vision libraries

Machine Learning: Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)

Mathematics: Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, and control theory

Hardware Integration: Experience integrating and optimizing code for sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU) and embedded systems

Preferred Skills

Experience developing and deploying vSLAM algorithms

Prior experience implementing motion planning on Ackermann systems

Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and safety standards

Experience with edge computing and GPU optimization (CUDA, TensorRT)

Understanding of manufacturing environments and material handling processes

Experience with git, docker, and agile development practices
