Overview
We are looking for a Platform Architect to lead the technical design and end-to-end architecture of a multi-module enterprise platform for private equity valuation, portfolio reporting, and transversal services. This role requires deep expertise in AWS cloud-native architectures, Node.js/NestJS backends, and Angular frontends, with a proven ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems in a multi-vendor delivery model. The Platform Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, UX designers, backend/API teams, data engineers, and DevOps to ensure the platform meets both functional and non-functional requirements. Architecture & Design:
Define and maintain the overall architecture of the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Technology Strategy:
Evaluate emerging technologies and propose strategic adoption to improve the platform ecosystem. Platform Development:
Guide engineering teams in designing microservices, APIs, integration layers, and platform components. Cloud & Infrastructure:
Design and optimize cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). Security & Compliance:
Ensure the platform meets security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, SOC, GDPR). Performance Optimization:
Monitor platform performance and recommend tuning strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, DevOps, QA) to align technical solutions with business needs. Governance:
Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and platform governance processes. Documentation:
Maintain architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications
12+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3+ years focused on platform architecture. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and related services. Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures. Proficiency in API design (REST, GraphQL) and integration patterns. Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of distributed systems, data streaming, and event-driven architecture. Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platform design. Knowledge of serverless architecture patterns. Familiarity with big data and analytics platforms. Certification in AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or equivalent. Job Details
