Define and prepare job scopes and cost estimates for a wide range of project complexity and limited source information. Provide leadership to multi-functional project teams consisting of land, environmental, survey, mechanical design, construction, operations. Provide accurate and timely cost projections and schedules. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on cost control and in-service date. Communicate clearly across all levels of the company, to public officials, and contract personnel using all common forms of media. Maintain relationships with Operations personnel to evaluate installed facilities and incorporate improvements into future facilities. Maintain regular, dependable attendance with a high level of professionalism. Work with minimal guidance regarding work prioritization and project execution. Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Civil/Chemical Engineering Discipline with 10+ years of engineering/project management experience in natural gas facilities and pipelines. Must possess extensive knowledge of natural gas properties, phase behavior, basic hydrocarbon production, and p/l operations. Prepare technical construction specifications for individual projects. Must maintain a high regard for personal safety as well as that of other employees and contractors on site, in addition to the protection of company assets and the general public. Must be able to evaluate project bids and make selections. Must be able to mentor engineers with limited experience and provide recommendations and guidance. Must have strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and be able to apply sound judgment to poorly-defined problems. Review plans & details for code compliance, proper company and safety standards & good engineering practices. Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products. Must possess and maintain a state-issued driver’s license. Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours and respond to emergency situations at any time of day. Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of mapping or graphics computer programs. Licensed professional engineer is preferred. Working knowledge of DOT regulations and related natural gas & liquid design codes. Proficient at using Google Earth to identify and finalize pipeline routes. Ability to navigate to remote locations. Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normal office working conditions and field work Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment will occur.
