We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the C2BMC Global program, focusing on Java software development. The role involves design, development, testing, and support of a large, distributed system. The ideal candidate thrives both independently and in small teams, communicates well, and adapts to a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues Design and implement new functionality Perform system integration and benchmarking Create automation tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set standards, resolve problems, and enhance system performance Experience Required
Command and control system application development Experience with message translation software Automated test and pipeline development experience Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows Experience with software integration testing and automated test scripts Experience with Risk Management Framework/STIG/Fortify mitigation Experience designing and developing microservices and deploying with containers; setting up a container environment Technical Skills Required
Effective oral and written communication Ability to work in a rapid-paced, team environment Knowledge of software practices and coding standards Strong problem solving, including identifying root causes and developing solutions Desired Qualifications
Experience on an Agile team Familiarity with Java Spring Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes Knowledge of server-side development and message passing Working knowledge of MS Office products Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasks Experience with git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven/Gradle, Eclipse Understanding of Use Cases and UML diagrams Education
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s with 3+ years, or equivalent Security and Compliance
Clearance: Top Secret. DOD 8570: None Salary
Salary Range: $100,000 to $122,000. Actual salary based on location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs. Some roles may be eligible for variable incentives. Perks
