Term: October 15, 2025- March 31, 2026 Location: Remote Our client is seeking a Senior Technology Architect Key Deliverables

Product Requirements & Delivery:

Lead the collection and documentation of business and technical requirements, focusing on HL7 FHIR standards and structured clinical documents. Develop, validate, and maintain HL7 FHIR artifacts, including implementation guides, clinical notes, diagnostic reports, and Notifications. Ensure alignment with Canadian and international terminology standards (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC). Prioritization & Technical Execution:

Conduct standards research, gap analysis, and provide recommendations for FHIR adoption. Prioritize development and maintenance of FHIR tooling using platforms such as Simplifier, HL7 Validator, Forge, and FHIR Shorthand. Support GitHub-based versioning and publication workflows. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with clinical, business, and technical stakeholders to assess readiness of healthcare systems for standards-based data exchange. Facilitate partner engagement and manage implementation challenges to support EHR integration and workflow optimization. Documentation & Communication:

Prepare presentations, briefing notes, and user documentation. Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Contribute to digital health initiatives across jurisdictions, supporting interoperability and reducing reliance on paper-based processes. Must Haves

10+ years’ experience including extensive knowledge of digital health standards such as HL7 FHIR, clinical terminologies (e.g., SNOMED-CT, LOINC) and their application. 10+ years Healthcare experience within Canada in acute care, primary care and/or community care settings. 10+ years’ experience and understanding of pan-Canadian digital health standards and tooling. 10+ years Hands-on experience with HL7 FHIR tooling including Simplifier, HL7 Validator, Forge or FHIR Shorthand.
